The School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) route into teaching is exactly the same as School Direct Fee Funded. As a SCITT we work with local schools, equipped with skilled and experienced mentors to support SCITT trainees. This is a very practical route into teaching, offering hands on teaching experience from the very beginning, that is supported and facilitated by fully qualified, practising teachers.

The School Direct Salaried route is for those who are seeking employment during their training year; as a result this is a highly competitive route into teaching. Note: Candidates will only be invited to interview for a salaried position if they already have a supporting school who are willing to pay their salary. There are no general vacancies for the salaried route at this time.
As a provider we are accredited to award QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), therefore we work with The University of Hull to give you the opportunity to complete an optional PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) qualification whilst you train with us. All training takes place in Lincoln and you do not need to travel to Hull at all. The PGCE option runs concurrently with the QTS programme.
The Assessment Only Route, for the recommendation of QTS, is suitable for applicants who already have substantial teaching experience within establishments and do not require any further training to satisfactorily meet the Teachers’ Standards. Applicants are already delivering high quality lessons as unqualified teachers.
