Little Gonerby C of E Infant School in Grantham is the Lead School for the Grantham & South Lincolnshire ITT Partnership. We believe in placing the learner at the centre of all we do, developing innovative ways of learning through REAL projects and environments which excite and immerse children in their learning, which also make our school an inspiring place to work!

The Grantham & South Lincolnshire ITT Partnership, work as a team to support each trainee. The diversity of our large partnership of schools can offer many different experiences and means that there is a wealth of experience and expertise across our staff.

If you apply to us, we can guarantee that your main and second school placements will be within the Grantham and South Lincolnshire area.

We work closely with East of England Teacher Training to offer the highest quality training across a wide range of schools. All of the schools that we work with have a range of experiences of successfully supporting different routes into Initial Teacher Training and all strongly believe that a school based route like SCITT or School Direct is the best way to train.

Trainees will spend (on average) four days a week in their host school and a day a week at centre based training being trained by current teachers who are experts in their field. Centre based training will take place in Lincoln.

Working alongside current, outstanding teachers will ensure that all of our trainees have the best possible support and role models in order to become outstanding teachers themselves. We believe that our children deserve nothing but the best and want our trainees to have the same experience.

All of the schools in the Partnership would be happy to host candidates who are looking to gain experience in school before applying (*COVID-19 restrictions allowing). So if you would like to gain work experience please email enquiries@eoettc.com for more information.
